How HW Slip Works

  1. 1. Tap a price on any racecard to save it to your slip.

  2. 2. Tick 4 at 2/1 or bigger and lock in before your first race runs.

  3. 3. Land all 4 and win a month of Pro. All 4 at 4/1 or bigger wins 12 months.

HW Slip Terms

  1. What it is. HW Slip is a free daily competition run by HorseWhale. No money is staked and no purchase is needed to enter. It is not a bet.
  2. Who can enter. UK and Irish residents aged 18 or over with a HorseWhale account in a free trial or a paid subscription. One account per person. Accounts with complimentary access can play but are not eligible for prizes.
  3. Your slip. Each London racing day you may lock in one slip of 4 selections from that day's UK and Irish races, each in a different race. Each selection must be priced at 2/1 or bigger when you lock in. The price taken is the price HorseWhale shows at that moment. You must lock in before the first of your selections runs, and a locked slip can't be changed.
  4. Settlement. Selections are settled on the official result and starting price (SP). A dead heat counts as a winner.
  5. Non-runners. If a selection doesn't run, it is replaced by the SP favourite in that race. If the favourite's SP is shorter than 2/1, it is replaced by the shortest-priced runner at an SP of 2/1 or bigger. The replacement is settled at its SP. Joint favourites are resolved by the lower saddlecloth number.
  6. Abandoned or void races. A selection in an abandoned or void race is void, and your slip is settled on the other selections.
  7. Prizes.
    • If all your settled selections win, and each was taken at 2/1 or bigger, you win one month of Pro, applied as a £24.99 credit to your HorseWhale account.
    • If each was taken at 4/1 or bigger, you win twelve months of Pro, applied as a £99.99 credit, instead of the one-month prize.
  8. How credits apply. HorseWhale adds your credit within 24 hours of your slip landing, and it comes off your next bill. On a free trial, the credit comes off your first payment. If your subscription has been cancelled, the credit applies if you subscribe again. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
  9. Errors. If a result, price or data error affects a slip, HorseWhale may void or resettle it. HorseWhale's decision is final.
  10. Changes. HorseWhale may change or end HW Slip at any time. Changes don't affect slips already locked in.
